Default Is the five year/50,000 mile drivetrain warranty transferrable?

Hi,

I just bought an 06 350Z touring. It has 35,000 miles on it. Do I have to do anything as far as the 5 year/50,000 mile drivetrain warranty goes? Is there any paperwork I need from the original owner that he needs to sign over to me, etc? Can I just bring the car into the dealership and have service covered under the warranty?

you can just take it to the dealer, they will have a date of the original sale for the 5 year clock

You can also call in USA nissan HQ and they will also verify the warranty on the vehicle.

But as far as paperwork goes you dont have to do anything, the warranty stays with the vehicle regardless of the owner.
