Default BF Goodrich g-Force T/A KDW2

How many of you run the BF Goodrich g-Force T/A KDW2?

Do you like them? What do you not like?

I went from Toyo Proxes 4 to the BFG g-Force KDW2 and I like my Toyos better. Something about the BFG's just don't feel as good as the Toyos. Wet and dry traction seemed better with the Toyos.
The point where the tires breaks traction seemed more predictable with the Toyos. The BFGs seem to wander on the road more too.
The ride and quietness even seemed better with the Toyos.
Even the tread width on the BFG's doesn't seem as wide on the same size tire.
What does anyone else have to say about the BFGs? Anyone else feel this way them too?
I'm running the stock sizes front and rear.

I liked them. They felt really good when new. Stuck to the ground pretty well. They don't last long, though. They're also not that good when cold and wet. I'm now on Sumitomo's.

They are loud as hell. A friend of mine has an SRT-4 which has a tone of exhaust drone but you can still hear those tires over the exhaust.

I love the BFG, they are def loud. I think their "new" dry traction is great! I love the way the tires give you feedback through the steering wheel when they are new. Their dry traction is good and I can see what you're saying with their inconsistencies - I found them to lose integrity when they heat up too...They SUCK in snow/ice...I don't have the car out in snow/ice but when I have, it's bad...their wet traction is decent...no complaints...

@smooth, I have found their lifespan "good enough" for my needs -

Other than the potenzas that came on the car, I have had only the gforce series on my z...I guess I'm too loyal...

I am rolling on a set now, and as of yet, they are not as loud as people have said they are. I have not pushed them to their limit, so I can not comment on breaking traction.

Don't get me wrong, I loved them when they were new and gripped like glue. Like 3point stated, they suck in snow and ice and heavy rain. I was driving up to MN from GA in October and almost lost the car a few times driving 45 on the freeway.

I've had BFG KDW 2's for a season thus far, did a track day and they gripped like hell, never found their limit, not even a squeal out of them. But I will be more cautious as they wear. Good to know the Toyo's are good, maybe I'll get them next time.

Don't let that stop you - IMO tires (more or less) fall on a proportional curve of performance vs. longevity. A tire with incredible life will grip like plastic big-wheel tires, a tire that grips like nobody's business will last a month...find the sweet spot and run with it. It sounds like a handful of people run these wheels and are generally happy with them.

Worst case scenario is that you figure out these arent the tires for your driving style, you might be out a hundred dollars based on a price difference between another set but you might find out these are the tires you have been waiting for all your life...
