Is there any info out there on how to remove the dash cluster on the G35 safely? I need to remove the steering wheel but I am worried about the airback situation. Thanks.
to remove the airbag, u need to disconnect the battery, and leave both terminals off for a good hour or so
then begin to remove it. You'll have some trouble removing the theft proof bolts holding the airbag in, they are sealed with loctite. They'll need to be replaced coz u will strip the crap out of them. Then once you've gone that far, its just two plastic press clips then lay the airbag down on its back and dont knock it around
as for instructions, try google, or jump on g35frenzy.com
