I hope Quikz gets his car on the road soon. Maybe it will be something like this...

that was BigBri's car back when he still owned it.
As it turned out he wasn't making 700whp, but more like 570-600whp, and he's even running 295 drag radials in the rear http://www.my350z.com/forum/showthread.php?t=222576

Yeh he reckons he normally runs 23lbs on the street and it was pulling 570 @ 18lbs so he's got to be gettin' at least 600+ in the vid. That's still pretty good and it gives an indicator of what quikz should expect (APS extreme TT setup on fully built motor). Csn't wait to see the results.

yeah, i just don't understand the point of so much hp though i guess if you can't really use it. I mean, he was running 295 drag radials - the only thing better would be an actual racing slick. Sam @ GT Motorsports was reporting that the chassis actually feels like it's twisting pretty bad at 855whp - like the windshield wants to break out as you step on it. And you can't get traction until like 5th gear.
Just seems weird when you think about professional long nose drag cars that have a crazy long wheel base and really HUGE slicks in the rear with the engine in the rear, and only 2 gears instead of 6 and many of them have 700-800hp. My friend had one for awhile until he blew the engine. It seems to me, you'd want something like that to make full use of 700whp. Otherwise you're just spinning tires and showing off your whp numbers ...IMO

i guess, I just think there's a difference between a good design for lots of power and a bad design for lots of power mainly having to do if the chassis can handle it and if you're not just spinning tires. You want to be able to hook up that power otherwise it's all pointless and actually dangerous
for instance, I think the veryon is a good design for 1000 hp with AWD and rear engine and 365mm wide rear tires, but I'm not so sure about the RWD 350Z being that great with using 1000hp especially with such aggressive gearing, even worse would be a FWD civic so far switching to a 3 speed racing TH400 transmission has resulted in people with TT's going around half to almost a full second faster than anyone with the stock 6 speed manual - even with a 3.36 final drive
