Z lag, sputter, no accel (sometimes)

Hello all, first time on here posting, I've looked at othere threads and can't find anything like this. I have an 06 z grand touring, 6 manual. Its completely stock performance wise. Few months ago I down shifted into third to pass someone and when I got to approx. 3k rpms it just falls on its face no more accel. It does this in every gear as far as I can tell. A few times when I started it, it idled rough like it wasnt firing on all cylinders however a mile or less and that went away. If I keep on the gas some times it will jerk and keep accelerating once it gets higher in the rpms around 6k ID say. The weirdest thing is it doesn't always do it some times it will to on the way to work then omw home its totally fine. Soemtimes it will go weeks without an issue then pop up randomly. I have no idea what this could be, the engine light came on once when it idled rough but was off in 5min or less and when it's lagging there is no CEL or anything abnormal on the dash. The only thing I know that's wrong is there is a hole in the flex pipe of the exhaust (stock exhaust). PLEASE ABY IDEAS????

There are 2. They are mounted in the right and left side(rear )of the plenum.

The cam position sensors are rather common to go out(maybe only one)at
around 60-70k miles.
The problem is,you may not get a code. The car will be fine at times, then
run badly. Best to get a diagnostic check at a Nissan shop.
Unless you are a tech person,I'd leave replacement up to the shop.
The sensor on the passenger side is rather easy to replace. The driver's side,
not so.
I highly recommend using OEM sensors rather than aftermarket.
