Default 03 rotor wont come off

I have been having problems with my right rear tire and rotor. The rotor started to wear uneven and I could hear the tire scraping when I drove kind of like I had the e brake on. I am trying to change the brakes ( non brem) but the rotor refuses to come off. I have tried for over 5 hours to get it off with no luck. I believe that the E brake has malfunctioned and wont disengage anyone know of anyway I can release the e brake I really need to get this rotor off. Call or texts work at 623 742 5242 as I am going to be working on the car so I wont be inside a lot to check the replies. I would like to be able to get it figured out tonight if possible. Thanks for the help everyone.

First off, take your phone number down - second take a deep breath.

relax and go to the auto parts store or home depot and get a can of PB Blaster. Is your wheel/tire able to be removed?

Spray the PB Blaster around the tire hub in & out of the crevasses about once an hour for 4 or 5 hours. Let the stuff soak in and do it's thing…it'll take more than one application but the stuff works, just give it time.

During my BBK install the fronts came off easy and the rears were horrible...

Ill grab some right now. The tire comes off just fine its just the rotor doesn't move (as in the direction it is suppose to come off ) at all. Not even a little.

What's your method of taking to rotors off? Are you hitting them with a hammer? I used a rubber mallet to remove mine. Looking at your other post about your E brake -do you think the E brake is engaged to the point where it's rotor on? I think it'd have to be set really hard to do this - but I am not sure.

On a safety note, if you are using a hammer, I would wear eye protection and consider placing a junk 2x4 between the hammer and the rotor so that you're not hitting metal on metal.

Keep us posted...
